Joel D. Myers, Esq
Joel, a Smyrna, Georgia native, received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1990. Afterwards, Joel worked as a Nuclear/Environmental Engineer for the U.S. Department of Defense (Navy) in Charleston, SC and Vallejo, CA on the nuclear submarine refueling team. Joel attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, wherein he received his Juris Doctorate degree. While at USC School of Law, Joel was President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, Business Manager of the Environmental Law Journal and selected to teach legal writing and oral advocacy. For approximately 10 years, Joel served as Managing Partner at Myers & Kaplan, Intellectual Property Law, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. Joel now has more than 16 years of experience practicing law!
